2024年11月6日 · I’m a newbie here to BD. I’m hoping to venture down to Baja in the Spring. I’ll be on a motorcycle with a 9-10 foot traveling rod and a 4000-5000 spinning reel. I mainly want to try surf or shore fishing. Possibly hiring a panga on occasion. I’m hoping to learn some of the best surf fishing spots from north to south.

2013年12月11日 · The most limiting factor to your fishing at the moment will be your tackle, especially with regards to Roosters, Jacks, etc...ideally you would want a surf casting outfit that would allow you to cast as far as possible. A good sized spinning reel with 40# braid and a long spinning rod meant for casting lures in the 2-2 3/4 oz. range would be ideal.
