The picture is noticeably sharper, but not by a gigantic amount and many games actively look better with a little blur or have tiny blemishes that are only visible on a 1 chip.

But, the video out and the dc to dc converter are right next to each other and under the same RF shield. So the SF is susceptible to video noise from the power supply.
