Blinking White: The computer is in a low-power state, either S1 or S3. This does not indicate a fault condition. Solid White: The computer is in S0 state. Jul 31, 2004 · I can't format as I can't see what is going on. Also the 4 status lights on the back of the dell are green. So to wrap things up, I have four green lights on the back of the Dell, no beep codes, and solid green light on the monitor (and monitor has been tested OK) but black screen (zero display). I don't see the spash and can't see the BIOS.

Nov 26, 2023 · Upon power up got a solid amber power light with flashing 2, 3, 4 on the diagnostic panel. Shut down and unplugged the combo drive (internal USB plug). Applied power and got a solid green light with 3, 4 on the front panel. Removed the riser card, plugged the combo unit back in and the system runs.

Feb 22, 2023 · Solid amber power light can mean bad MB. The above test should help expose the culprit. With PC off, push PSU test button. If green light come on, internal peripherals are good, which may be unlikely. Be sure to do the BIST test with all external peripherals disconnected.

I have decreased the resolution to just 1080P and know I have enough Ram anyways, 16 Gig on my Intel i7-7700 and 8 Gig on my Sapphire Nitro Radeon RX 590 8GD5 Special Edition graphics card.
