The next thing I did that gave further improvement was to start using a sulfate-free, paraben-free shampoo (Burt's Bees) on my non-Nizoral days (Nizoral is not for every day use, I use twice per week).

You need anti biotics and just wash it with hibiscrub.anti biotics should control it and slow it right down,get tetracycline.the hibiscrub should just clean your scalp. without it being biopsied to find out exactly what it is you can only hope to kill it or slow it down and control it.

My scalp is horrible. It's usually covered in acne, and yes it is acne not anything else. My derm just puts me on antibiotics and shampoo.

I was willing to pay the price for this product because scalp acne can really hurt when coaming your hair. I wanted to add this because betadine shampoo isnt a very well know product.
