2021年5月4日 · This scene was meant to mirror the scene at the canyon party in S1E9. In that scene, Miguel followed "strike first", and in this scene, Robby followed it. They were portraying that Robby was starting to adopt that part of the Cobra Kai mentality. Robby was feeling hurt, angry, and betrayed and let his emotions get the better of him.

The writers made the theme of his arc explicit by what Daniel says to him during the tournament - "If you put passion before principle, even if you win, you lose".
