Can I use an external CD drive to plug into a car USB?
2015年12月8日 · Hi all, my dad recently got a new car and didn't think to check the spec for a cd player. Is it possible to buy an external CD reader (quite cheap online designed for laptops) and plug into the USB port in the car for the sound to run through the cars speakers? Thanks!

2017年5月7日 · The problem you may have is that a portable CD player may not have sufficient buffering to compensate for the motion of the car. Early car CD players were pretty bad that way. Skipped all the time. I would suggest that you rip your CDs to mp3 files and use a USB stick to access them. Lots more convenient although the sound won't be as good.

2011年4月22日 · as for a cd player.. even cheap $10-20 players sound fine. almost all feature 20-45sec skip protection as well. going with a major brand for a slightly higher price tag might net you a better warranty and a few more features but that is about it. your local retail chain (walmart, sears, etc..) are perfectly fine for this.

What I hope to do is to play cd in my cd player, but have the music output on my headset instead of the speaker. I have not problem on pairing my headset with my phone, but I still have lots of cd not being ripped into my phone and doing so would be time consuming.
