Lens for Bird photography. - Nikon - Photo.net
2008年12月15日 · <p>Could anybody give any advice on a suitable lens for Bird photography? It would be mounted to a D200 body and price would be an issue. Meaning i cant afford the nikon 400mm 2.8, the 500mm f4 or the 600mm F4. I was thinking about nikon 300mm f4 with a tele converter possibly or i have looked at the 80-400 VR.

Look around . yourself with the lens frame in mind, re-aim, shoot, ... Discuss / critique the result, repeat . over and over for a month: one camera, one lens.

It is a "wide" lens, as compared to the 28mm lens, and it was sold at a very reasonable cost. It is light weight and it is small in size, as compared to a zoom lens. Once I had a 24mm lens, the 28mm lens became rather unused.

This was to make the lens cheaper to manufacture, and added a minor internal reflection due to the glass - cement interface. It had no effect on the lens aberration optimization.
