Second, Nate is not a musician. He relied on the other members of Fun. to write music, including Jack. Jack pursued his own career in the Bleachers/producing and held up the production of LP3. Nate wanted to get the songs out to fans, so he went solo. Also, Nate toured with the rest of Fun (the Band Romantic, as they were called) sans Jack.

My mom really liked Nate Ruess' voice too so "Just Give Me a Reason" was like a dream collab for her lol. I heard this song pretty much every single day the year it was released. It never got old tbh. The lyrics, the vocals; all pretty good to great at points. While it's not my favorite Pink song, it definitely holds up even more than a decade ...

Nate Ruess, Sam Means, and Andrew Dost join to form one band. The name would be "Flowers!" Yes, exclamation point at the end required. Another "F" band name seems appropriate, since it pays homage to his previous bands, and Flowers! is the perfect aesthetic vibe for them.

Nate's got one of the most memorable voices in music, IMO. I've felt I wanted Grand Romantic to be, well... more grand . So I played around with the tracklisting to see how it could flow/feel differently... and be a little longer, since more Nate is never a bad thing.

2022年4月8日 · If you didn't know about the Format, that is how Nate became known. I still remember seeing him in Seattle back around 2005 and him smoking a cigarette on stage while singing 'On Your Porch'. I noticed they have a new song as of this year - after trying to reschedule their reunion show for a couple years.

Nate Ruess has amazing musical talent as far as his voice. Sure he played around with autotune a little bit on Some Nights but that's because he doesn't need it, he's allowed to play with it. This song is amazing and Nate nailed it as always.

I'm really just recapping what has been said already, I know; but c'mon. Because of how depressing the song is, I expected this to be a night scene, and the video wasn't depressing enough. Like mentioned already, it would've been much better if we actually saw Nate introduce Debbie, even if they didn't appear themselves but if actors did.

2021年6月5日 · Nate technically didn’t leave The Format. Sam was tired and pressured by their growing popularity so they ended the band. I’m sure Nate would have wanted to continue with the third album they had already planned, but yeah Jack and Nate’s opportunities to do side projects got in the way. They never got on the same page again.
