2011年7月8日 · The Nalgene/Guyot bottle is a bushcraft & hiking staple, and many of us like to nest a pot in it. Every time I see a likely candidate online I scour all available sources for exact dimensions but often they can't be found. It would be great to be able to reference end users that have actually tried the combo of pot & bottle and can verify the fit.

2011年7月10日 · Just bought the Toaks 750ml titanium pot/cup and that fits perfectly on my 40oz klean kanteen as well as my Nalgene bottle, The Toaks is extremely light, alot lighter then I thought it would be, don't know if that is a good or bad haha.

2021年8月24日 · The SS Nalgene bottle is much heavier than the Klean Kanteen. But that extra weight (and probable extra thickness) might help to protect it from damage by falls or freezing, I hope. It might be easier to connect a water filtration tube with an adapter to an SS Nalgene bottle than to a Klean Kanteen bottle, to collect filtered water.

2018年11月13日 · Yeah, I was worried about the bottle leaking and that's why I didn't try it sooner. I should have though lol. Over the years though I have found the Nalgene brand water bottle and USGI 1 qt canteens to be 100% leak-free though (Knock-off imitation army canteens that don't have the rubber gaskets leak really bad though).

2019年1月21日 · I use the bottle pretty much everyday. It seems more socially acceptable if you show up with one at the gym as opposed to a canteen. The bottles also fit better in most backpack side pockets which are often made big enough to "fit a standard nalgene-type bottle." You can even put them in some cup racks in automobiles.

2023年8月21日 · The caps are a bit tougher, particularly the spot that seals the top of the bottle with the cap. That creavice can be annoying and a sponge doesn't get to it easily. Since it's also on the outside of the seal, just filling the bottle with cleaner doesn't get to it easily as it's sealed outside of the container. This area.

2018年8月7日 · A standard Nalgene Tritan would save 6oz, Nalgene HDPE would save 8oz, and 1.5L Smartwater bottle would save 10oz (vs Nalgene's SS bottles) and all nest well with the GSI. I person use the Toaks 750 Ti mentioned above.

2023年8月21日 · When any of them get stinky, I will boil water and put it into the bottle on top of a drop of dish soap. Fill it to the top and let sit until cool. After that, empty and mechanically scrub with a bottle brush and hot (as the water heater will provide) tapwater with more soap.
