I ‘added to home page’ from Safari after making Edge my default and confirming that other links did open Edge rather than Safari.

On the device that I was testing, an App age rating of 12+ disallowed the use of Edge (and Chrome) but changing it to 17+ allowed the app to work. This is not suitable for the device that I am trying to get Edge working on so I will have to not use Edge for now - obviously I will leave this up to you to decide what is appropriate for yourself.

Sync to had two options: 1) The new Microsoft Edge and 2) Microsoft Edge Legacy. I selected option 1). There was an explanation below these options that stated -
