Here the Utility's meters are only 300 amps and we have to use a Trans "S" or CT system. Looking at these 300 amp meters I wonder if they really can carry 300 amps continuously.

Grounding at the meter instead of the main panel?
2022年12月3日 · The NEC allows for any grounding electrode to be connected to the grounding electrode system via the meter socket enclosure. In the past we would always install the one or two ground rods directly to the meter socket enclosure. That kept one more thing from having to penetrate the building envelope and one less thing inside the panel.

Have a helper hold the one on the inside of the building in the same spot as at the outside back board goes. Screw threw the both boards sandwiching the metal wall. Now hang your meter equipment on that.
