2017年12月8日 · I only have two DME choices in my home city, Apria and Lincare. I was with apria for years and they were awful to deal with. It wasn't even possible to phone the local office. In January I got my Dr. to write a prescription to replace my 9 year old CPAP and switched to Lincare. So far the experience has been much better.

2015年2月11日 · Make sure you tell your insurance company how much that Lincare charged you for the cpap rental and how much they charged you for the humidifier because it seems unreasonable and maybe unlikely that you should have been charged $167 for the humidifier.

Once we finally got his machine it took 6 more months for us to get any supplies. My insurance covers 100% of DME supplies yet a couple of months after receiving the machine Lincare sent me a bill for over $800.

I already had an O2 concentrator from them here because my cardiologist freaked out at the O2 apnea desats of 62% and ordered it thru them until I could get the pap machine. Long story short, I wanted a PRS1 Auto aflex. They wanted to give me a S9 auto set.

2018年2月15日 · In November I called Lincare regarding the monthly BiPap supplies that I had not received and was told that there was a hold placed by my local Lincare out of Newburgh, NY. I called that office and was informed that my insurance needed a reauthorization and Lincare needed the SD card from my machine.

If they need a different script, then either they can get it for you or you can call the doctor's office and they will send a new one. Ultimately, you pay for it (either with cash your your health insurance), so get the cpap that YOU want as you will have that for the next 5 or more years.

2016年9月13日 · Contact Lincare at its corporate offices: Phone: (800) 284-2006. As with many companies, this tends to fix a lot of problems. Lincare is a relatively good outfit (way better than Apria) but individual offices can suck. I'm fortunate that mine is quite good.
