2020年9月27日 · Eased thru Walmart early this am and spotted some Kingsford pellets, looks like a blend, also noticed the pellets were shorter than they use to be and maybe bigger around, don't think there is any way they could bridge, If your having bridging issues you might want to ck them out , oh they are under $8 a bag if I remember correctly.

I get a 40lb bag of hardwood stove pellets for $6.50 and see no reason to use anything else. Though I do use some hickory pellets just to see if other people notice a difference and so far the cheapest pellets work fine.

2022年3月1日 · They are very good pellets and are 100% of what wood they say, I ran a bag of the chili flavor and while the raw pellets smelled like it I am not sure it added a lot . would buy again if same price as regular pellets. would rank them right there with LJ which I feel are 1 of the best out there without having to order from some where

2019年4月9日 · for pellets, the main difference in brands is quality, filler wood, BTUs produced, and pellet size. I have not run any tests but I stick with B&B (rebranded lumberjack iirc) as it's readily available close by. I need to bulk order some pellets at some point. Most likely Lumberjack.

2022年2月24日 · Was not aware of the Cookin Pellets & Kingsford pellets. I drive past lowes on way to work. I do want a 100% hickory pellet for a few low & slow smokes I do. I’m hoping they make the cook a little simpler. Chunk wood makes a lot of temp swings in a long smoke. Hopefully a tube full of hickory pellets won’t be up & down in temps.

2023年6月13日 · Lumberjack is my first pick, but I've found Kingsford to be decent, just cost a lot more. One thing I try to always do is buy my pellets in all one wood type (all cherry, hickory, etc.) and blend my own mixes when needed. Example: I smoke bacon with either a 50/50 blend of either cherry and hickory, or cherry and pecan, when I can find it.
