2021年3月9日 · The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office has reopened the Kendrick Johnson case, according to Sheriff Ashley Paulk. Johnson’s body was found on January 11, 2013, in the old Lowndes High School gymnasium. In May 2013, Johnson’s death was ruled an accident.

2020年6月10日 · For those that don’t know, Kendrick Johnson was a 17 year old high school student that was found inside a vertical, rolled up gym mat in his high school’s gymnasium. It’s been said that he was trying to get his gym shoes out from under the mat, as it was common for students to store their shoes under them.

Spitballing here but could the speed of Kendrick's death have been due to the material of the mat and shape it took when rolled (possibly being uneven and tighter towards the bottom or center if held shut with a bungee cord), and Kendrick continuing to slip downward while breathing, which might've caused more and more compression to his chest as the space grew tighter..?

They also show that frame from 10am on Jan 10, 2013 and act like it’s weird that some kid didn’t remember walking near but not interacting with Kendrick when he was interviewed by the news in July of 2015. Personally I don’t think that’s that weird.
