Ken Wright Cellars was founded in rural Carlton, Oregon, specializing in single vineyard Pinot Noir. The Tasting Room 2003 Ken and wife Karen, purchase Carlton’s 1920’s train station and restored it for their tasting room location.
Rather than stamping wine with a varietal trademark, Pinot noir is the ultimate vehicle for conveying the aroma, flavor and texture of the location in which it is grown. Resumes have rarely been a part of the Ken Wright Cellars hiring process. Ken and Karen hired people that they either knew or have met over a number of years, people who showed both high character and talent. Ken Wright Cellars now has 20 employees.

2024年9月12日 · I love the new 2023 Ken Wright Cellars ‘Willamette Valley’ Chardonnay (OB, 92) which is glorious for an entry level wine and shows loads of texture and tension. Even better is the 2022 Ken Wright ‘Carter Vineyard’ Pinot Noir (OB, 95) which is deep and concentrated, with some serious aging potential.
