The K21 is a South Korean infantry fighting vehicle. A replacement for the K200-series, it was formerly designated as K300 or XK21 KNIFV (Korea Next-generation Infantry Fighting Vehicle). The initial production began in 2009, with the Republic of Korea Army planning to field approximately 466 units.

The K21 is an indigenously developed South Korean Infantry Fighting Vehicle in service with both the Republic Of Korea Army and the Australian Army. It is heavily armed with sophisticated sighting technology, well armoured and has all round good mobility.

The K-21 can run at a maximum speed of 70 km/h. on road and 40 km/h. on croos-country. The K21 uses the in-arm suspension units (ISU) that enable the vehicle to lean toward a side, or corner, as each in-arm suspension unit can be controlled individually.

It is designed to effectively defeat other IFVs as heavily armed and armored as the BMP-3. The XK21 KNIFV's chassis is constructed entirely out of fiberglass, reducing the weight of the vehicle and enabling it to travel at higher speeds without bulky and powerful engines.
