2014年1月1日 · The tire takes up so much room. im planning on getting a swing bumper tire carrier or making one next once i do that i might put more cross bars. i dont really put anything else up there unless im camping so i wasnt too worried about stuff falling through. but once i put the tire on back i might do a couple the other direction and mount my ski rack up there...

2004年10月25日 · So using the factory roof rack channels, which spread the weight across the length of the roof is just fine for most people. I don't like the idea of putting a spare up there, I know a lot of people do it, but imho that should go on a rear carrier. The aluminum rack seems to be fairly nice and bang for buck-wise a pretty good deal.

2008年11月16日 · Used a 22 Torx wrench, removed the rack, put Locktite Extend around all the hole posts and then put the screws back in. Why the Locktite? Paint was flaking around a couple of the holes and had a little rust. When I put the rack back on you won't see the Extend application. I also put flat nylon washers in, help seal it from moisture penatration.
