2021年1月5日 · The LAPG plate carrier is a cheap solution to use while waiting for a Crye unit to come in stock. The L210 plates are a little heavy for the LAPG carrier without shoulder pads though. I would prefer multi-curve plates but, they are a LOT more expensive.

2023年10月27日 · It is not any slimmer feeling. The kangaroo pouch is a pain and bows out. Putting anything on the back and taking it off is a pain. Integrating a TUBES cummerbund is a pain on the 1.0 vs the 2.0 JPC. I put together the armor package for my PD. The list of vest components was: Crye JPC 2.0 Crye JPC 2.0 front MOLLE placard (don't get this)

2018年4月3日 · The JPC plate bag has a nylon front and a stretchy material on the back, with a velcro closure on the bottom. They are cut so that an ESAPI plate with kevlar backer is a very tight fit. A standalone SAPI cut plate would also be a very tight fit. A too-small plate would not sit still in the carrier as there is nothing that would hold it in place.

2022年3月30日 · IMHO, the JPC is Crye's version of a budget plate carrier. Pretty good for a lightweight, low feature PC (although the two I tried were uncomfortable at the top of the front plate bag) but it isn't a good option once you start stacking on weight. I'd choose the K19 if I were getting my first PC and wanted to play around with scaling up/down.

2014年8月24日 · Btw SAPI and ESAPI plates are ICW and require soft armor backing. If you are using an armor carrier you will probably need a BALCS cut soft armor or if you go with a plate carrier they sell soft armor in the shape of plates that can be positioned behind the plates in the armor pocket of a plate carrier.

2016年4月20日 · Crye's website says to size the JPC based on the size of your plates. My plates measure 9.5 x 11.5, but the JPC's sizes are based on the SAPI plates. So their medium would be designed for a 9.5 x 12.5 plate and their large would be designed for a 10 x 13 plate. I'm confused because Crye also has a sizing chart based on chest size.

2020年9月28日 · Bought a JPC 1.0 a few months ago. Swimmer Medium Plate in the front and a SAPI Medium Plate in the back. There is a little extra material in the top corners of the front plate bag because of the SAPI vs Swimmer cut of the plate bag. Though its by no means enough to worry about at all.

I've been scouring the plate carrier picture thread and have seen a bunch great setups but am curious what is the top three carriers to be looking at.
