2023年7月28日 · It definitely Depends on your goals. An mba is not a key to the executive level though at all anymore; it’s a nice to have but hardly a major standout. A percentage of my reason for going was just that, a lot of the more senior people I worked with all had an MBA and I didn’t want to bet on me being the exception.

2018年3月3日 · A top 25 MBA was found to be worth it for most. After that, it gets dicey. Depends on a whole lot of stuff. Age, industry, experience, and on and on. Unless you’re going to a top school it is not exactly clear. But it is absolutely not worth it for some, and not just the cost.

So, MBAs from WGU or UC Davis or ASU or Texas A&M or UNC or State U will be the same to most people. You might get some recognition on the university name if someone is an alumni or fan.

2024年1月9日 · Generally, no LSU is not a good MBA program. I wouldn’t take loans to go there when there are other much stronger online MBA programs with better rankings. Boston is cheap and respectable for what it is. I would look there if you’re risk averse.

The biggest benefit of an MBA in being in person and creating a network. It’s an absolute shame that schools charged the same for kids taking classes (especially MBA classes) virtually. There is very little value of an MBA without the in person component - for both ft and pt. With that said, the pt program was absolutely worth it for me.

There is absolutely no benefit to getting an MBA right after undergrad. You don’t have full-time work experience let alone “management” experience that make the whole program worthwhile. If anything, it will make things worse. This true even if you’re not set on M7 and are fine with a local, unranked program.

2020年6月27日 · That being said, I would absolutely not compare it to a 2-year MBA program. It's a 9-month self-paced program with no homework, 2-group projects, and 2 actual exams. I'm not convinced that the program is as competitive as they say. I've had a few friends ask me about it and then subsequently apply; they've all gotten in.
