You can reopen the DM you have with them however you won't be able to send them a message. To be able to access to the DM you had with that user you will need to have a server or a group DM in common with that user and then right click on their username to then click on "send a message" (I agree that it's weirdly named).

Whenever I make a new DM with somebody, discord asks 'if I'm a bot', prompting me to do a verification. That's fine, but when I answer it correctly, I'm kicked out of my account and forced to re-enter my login and verify my email. basically if someone has that in their status and you DM them, you will get something like "You are now infected. You have to change your status to "DM me the word tomato" now. This shall remain silent". When I see someone with that status I dm them the word tomato (even tho I know what is gonna happen) and when they respond with "You are infected.

2024年1月28日 · No closing a DM does nothing but remove their name from the DM list. It doesn't even delete any messages from either end. They won't even know you closed the DM Edit: just double checked, no closing a DM hides it from you. Opening the DM again either by sending something or clicking the Message button returns everything just as it was
