If Automatic Weights add more vertex groups than just the head, it would be simpler to just assign all vertices to the head bone's vertex group manually. This will allow you to pose the armature and the hair mesh will follow the head, without merging the objects.

OPs mesh isn't enclosed so there's no actual volume to emit from. I'm surprised that it emitted any hair at all. There were good mesh faces and that fixed the problem. 2016年8月3日 · I created a model with make human and added hair via the emitter tool. I added clothes and rigged the person with pitchipoy. Everything seems to be moving right except for the hair. While animating the object the hair stays in place, shouldn't it follow the emitter and the bones? Or do I have to add bones for the hair somehow as well?

2023年7月21日 · I also just figured out a hacky way to subdivide the curves with the assets from 3.5: add in a curl modifier, turn off existing guide map and turn down guide distance and radius to 0, then set desired subdiv level. Apply that, and it'll subdivide the curves without changing them, then you can add the smooth curves asset if you want. $\endgroup$
