2023年11月12日 · For ground sausage type things we primarily stick with hot italian packed in 1lb. packs, breakfast sausage, and summer sausage if we get more than 2 deer. We like venison stew a lot though so I’ve been saving more and more “grinding” meat for that instead. We also do a fair amount of jerky, usually the high mountain “hunter” blend.

2020年2月26日 · I usually mix my own seasonings as well but always have fleet farm’s “wildlife seasoning jerky fixin’s” on hand and have always had good luck. They make a bunch of diff flavors and haven’t tried one I haven’t liked- $2-3 a pouch and makes 3 lbs which fits right in my bigger dehydrator.

2025年1月14日 · POI is just a bit over 1-1/2 high at 100 yrds. The first elevation mark of 1/2 MOA has POI = 325 yrds, first full MOA = 400 and second MOA mark is = 500…Top of post = 715yrds. I emphasise ISH on these as they don’t match 100% perfect, but more like 95-97%.

2025年1月12日 · Regardless of the lakes size, it’s a limited resource with extremely high daily limits. The perch aren’t everywhere either. It doesn’t need extra publicity. I’ve seen good perch fisheries get pounded until they’re very few left. Mille lacs will be no different.

2024年10月20日 · Sure its convenient for you but its not good for them long term. I think about their hips/joints like a set of factory OEM shocks/struts. That suspension only will last so for so many potholes before it wears out. Repeatedly jumping up and down from high up only speeds up the wear and tear. Once you realize they’re hurting, its too late.
