2012年5月8日 · I am pressing 50/25/25 (Poly, Cotton, Rayon) blends Bella + Canvas Brand. My transfers are 375-400 degree plastisol with med / heavy pressure at only 5 seconds. These transfers look amazing and have a super soft hand on 50/50 shirts and 100% cotton...but I am scorching the Tri-blends lightly. It is leaving a very light box around the pressed area.

You could see some puckering happening if going for longer times. I did have to do addt'l press for about 5 sec about peeling the backing.

2009年6月6日 · The reason dri-fit shirts are marked "DO NOT IRON" is because most home irons can get hot enough to melt the shirt if you hold the iron in one place long enough (only a few seconds). The 400-degrees necessary to print heat transfers is just below this threshold so be sure the temperature does not go over 400-410 degrees F.

2011年10月13日 · Infrared heat guns are often inaccurate because of the reflectivity factor of the heat platen. Temperature probes are more expensive solution but are very accurate. Geo Knight sells a nice one for just under $100. In my area, Craig's List has a lot of cheap, imported junk but a few gems pop up from time to time.
