In the past their market was primarily Korea/Japan, with some fans across the US. Now it's become so popular here that they're being met with more push-back on issues like this. Giulia meant absolutely nothing by it, I'm sure, but it's still not ok. Nobody should be cancelling Giulia, but someone should tell her.

She clearly revered Hana, and wanted Hana to like her, which we can see now is very un-Giulia behavior. Giulia was seen by a lot of fans as an invading outsider, and Hana was the first and still only 2nd Generation Stardom wrestler.

In other cases I'd say it falls on line with how a lot of discussions about women's wrestling turn out when most people aren't all that familiar with a wrestler. People who know more about the scene will be more likely to have a more developed opinion about her since she's one of the most divisive names in the scene for better or worse.

Detractors made an issue of her English and someone that was supposedly close to the negotiations and Giulia said she was studying English and has a better grasp on it that some of it's native speakers. Giulia being all factual. I'm honestly impressed. She sounds great.
