2020年12月15日 · Visually looks a bit better than Gears 5, and has a more striking aesthetic as well, but I wouldn't quite characterize it as "next gen" - whatever that means. Of course, it's also running at 60fps - twice the framerate of a lot of "next gen" modes in games - so that's certainly worth taking into account.

I love gears single player but can't really get into the multiplayer (thus don't care about customization). I will happily uninstall all that stuff.

2020年12月15日 · Soundtrack feels wayy different than a normal Gears experience but in a good way ofcourse. (credits still show Ramin Djawadi and Steve Jablonsky as the composers). Great that you can tell your AI teammates when to use their ultimates but it does feel like a coop experience first and foremost (in that regard).

2020年12月24日 · Gears 5 is ultimately a last gen game though. Still, I suspect the series S to handle itself well when next gen exlusives hit like Hellblade 2, etc. There will be compromises to resolution and effects but it is a 300 USD box. I feel the PS5D offers more for the extra 100.

2020年12月15日 · Just finished this Wow, what a great side story, even though you can still criticize that is the same Gears that we have been playing for a long time now, one can't deny that it was an entertaining ride, the graphics are gorgeous, which combined with the 60fps make an awesome experience (Specially the last chapter).

2020年12月17日 · Hivebusters DLC in my humble opinion raises the bar for graphics on any platform/any title. The visual presentation, the IQ, the textures everything about it just looks amazing. I had previously thought that the Gears 5 Series X, Demon's Souls and Miles Morales were pretty much on par with each other....but this DLC just takes it to another level.
