Note, anything longer than the 3 hr complete air exchange can require a fresh air system. So your problem boils down the "stale" air rather than combustion or CO2.

2019年1月20日 · The exhaust should shoot straight out and the intake be pointed down. Usually the exhaust is vented 12" above the intake / goose necked up so the fumes rise. Except for Lennox but they have a accelerator pipe for the exhaust to throw it far away from the intake. The furnace install manual should have pics of how it needs to be done.

If your house is very airtight it is good to get some fresh air in to breath. In the summer if you are in BC or southern ontario (very humid) you may want to close it to make the A/C work better.
