What are Fractals? - Fractal Foundation
For a simple description of fractals, please download our “One Pager” (380Kb). For more detailed info, please download our 20 page “Educators’ Guide” (7.5Mb).
Fractivities - Fractal Foundation
Fractivities are hands-on projects that teach fractal concepts in a fun, artistic way. Students utilize their math skills in real-world applications and also work together as a team to create large fractal designs.
Educators’ Guide – Fractal Foundation
The guide explains what fractals are and illustrates examples of fractals in nature and mathematics. It includes two fractal activities (Fractivities) to share with students and also contains a list of national science and math educational standards addressed by fractals.
