2020年6月17日 · I would point out that generally the sink drain and garbage disposal “tee” together before the P trap. I would call it a questionable installation. I’m not certain the plumbing code would have accepted a wye right there but since we aren’t code inspectors I would leave it as questionable with further evaluation by a qualified plumber.

2005年7月1日 · I am not a plumber, but a Commercial Builder, and think that a pea trap is not required with the use of this grease trap, for I believe it is creating the trap required. I might be wrong, but sure someone will respond and comment to my comment. Hope this helps. P. S. I believe someone will quote a code on this issue and put you at ease. Marcel

2021年3月19日 · Two things are needed to create an s-trap out of a p-trap that connects to a vertical drain pipe: a) short trap arm (less than 2x its pipe diameter) b) lack of vent. If you only have [A], then it’s a crown vent, also not allowed in most areas. If you only have [B], then it’s a p-trap without a vent, not an s-trap.
