2012年10月15日 · The Durabond 90 works great. Everything is solid as a rock now and fairly smooth. I can see now that it's never going to be perfect with Durabond only though. You can sand a ridge for 10 minutes and all your really doing is polishing it. So what's the easiest and cheapest way to go as far as a top coat? Can I basically put anything on top now?

2016年1月24日 · There is no difference in strength between Durabond EZ sand 5 up to 220. My crew will always use 45 over 90. The dry time is so much faster with 45 and workable time is only a bit more with 90. If you want to do drywall repairs faster look into using fibre fuse.

2008年3月20日 · It is only cleanup that needs to be considered, durabond won't hurt any tools. If I ever had reason to tape with durabond, I would use regular brown bag durabond, that is the one that put the bond in durabond, I would use the max 150, and I would mix it with half joint compound to retard it even more and make it creamy so it would work well.

I have used GP Sandable 90 which is pretty good, you can re-coat same day. Sta Smooth Lite, I have only used once and wasn't impressed. Need to try again to make sure.
