Droopy is an animated character from the golden age of American animation. He is an anthropomorphic white Basset Hound with a droopy face. He was created in 1943 by Tex Avery for theatrical cartoon shorts produced by the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer cartoon studio.

Droopy is voiced by Daws Butler instead of Bill Thompson. Despite being played a major role, Droopy speaks only three lines in this short. The holstered revolvers on the tall outlaw's belt disappear after the scene where he and the small outlaw step on a nail. This cartoon was aired during the NBA Cartoon Network All-Star Slam on February 9, 2003.
