Dreamcast has arguably the best fighting game library so you can't go wrong with anything aside from the NA wrestling games. My favorite is Fatal Fury mark of the wolves. The roster is incredible as are the sprites and most importantly the fighting so high recommends.

Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike on the DC is arguably one of the best Street Fighter games ever. Others that haven't been mentioned yet: Powerstone 1 & 2, the Dead or Alive series, Vampire Chronicles. The controller is awful for fighters though - get the arcade stick!

Nov 13, 2022 · My favorite is Capcom vs SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001 but if you were ever a Super SF 2 fan you should check Street Fighter 2 X for Matching Service. It’s the best version of SF2 ever released on a console and it was only ever released on Dreamcast. I tend to prefer the SNK games for look/feel but the GG game on DC is a ton of fun too.

Soul Calibur is an essential Dreamcast title, the best fighting game on a console that had many classics, one of the best games overall on the console, and the best in its own series. When Max was revisiting the game on his channel younger viewers were confused as to why the game ran so smooth and looked so good.

Apr 18, 2020 · It’s a hard question 😅 I have an appreciation for Project Justice, it’s a really fun game that still to this day exclusive for the Dreamcast. Capcom vs. SNK 2 is one of my favorite fighting game ever. SF3 3rd strike and SFZ3 are great ports for Dreamcast, I love them!

Marvel 2 and 3rd strike, I grew up with those in the arcade it’s where I learned my fighting game fundamentals I still play fighting games today like Street fighter 6 and Tekken 8. Everything I learned from the arcade I carried over to todays fighting games and it still works. I also believe in rematching your opponent best 2/3.

Apr 27, 2019 · Anything released on the Sega NAOMI that also had a Dreamcast port is typically going to be arcade perfect (or at least very close) thanks to the similar hardware - Dead or Alive 2 would be my personal favourite though the Power Stone games are also good.
