Sequoiadendron giganteum: 95m. Presumably because the equable conditions that allow for really tall growth also allow for easy all-year leaf retention.

The tree is not a gingko or Tamarack, it has oval leaves and tiny cones, less than an inch long. the cones are thinner then the cones on the tamarack. It was growing on the banks of a pond in a park in Milwaukee, wi. Can anyone identify it.

2008年6月15日 · My favorite shrubs are ninebark and mock orange (philadelphus). For fool-proof perennials, I use Mountain Bluette. This time of year all the grocery store garden centres are closing up so I got some very inexpensive plants to experiment with. Apparently mugho pines don't do well with juglone but I have a $5 one I am willing to sacrifice to find out for sure.
