I had a new up to date cable box installed by a Cox Tech 1/25/24 and now the Cox support chat tells me my box is not compatible with Apple TV and I need a newer cable box. Hi Timhotchkiss, Are you using the Contour 1 box or the Contour 2 box. For Contour 1, please go into the settings menu on the box. Go to Receiver, then Power Manger to make sure that Power Off Manually is turned on. For Contour 2, please press Contour on the remote. Go to settings & then Device Settings & the Power Preferences.

If the issue persists, the intermittent pixelation could be caused by a weak signal. You'll need a tech visit to have your signal checked.

I have Deleted Locally Stored data 4 time, unplugged power from box for 30 seconds 7 times, used the Contour Box Help Option to Reset and reboot the box 3 times and the online Reset Device function once.
