They stick the Kirkland name on it (as well as toilet paper, steak spice and multi vitamins) and wait for bored sheep to shove them in the cart full of crap. I would be embarrassed to put them in my bag.

2023年5月31日 · I was at Costco over the weekend and saw wedges, which I guess are the new ones. Only in right handed. As a lefty, I really wanted the previous versions of the wedges in lefty. I heard this anecdote that the lefty versions are only available in Canada because so many kids grow up playing hockey as lefties, and then play other sports lefty as well.

Yeah they’re decent wedges if you need a full set, but there are better options out there if you know where to look. I’m Canadian so the Kirkland wedge pack costs $200CAD up here. Once you factor in the cost of replacing the grips ($15-$20 per grip) you’re not saving much money compared to the Maltby TSW paks.

My buddy is a huge Costco fan so I've tried most of the Kirkland stuff. The G1 wedges were good, and let's be honest, great when you consider price. They are/were cast not forged if that matters to you, the grips went slick pretty quickly, and obviously you are limited to the lofts/bounces that come in the set which is probably the major downside.

2023年6月2日 · Bending weak increases bounce, and Kirkland wedges already have 10° bounce with full soles, so increasing bounce even more would generally diminish a bit of the workability. And if you’re invested enough to prefer 50/54/58 over the more common 52/56/60, you probably care a little bit about bounce and workability, too.

2020年11月13日 · Costco.com finally started selling the Kirkland wedge set online. I was looking for a set of wedges to use as practice/backup wedges to save wear and tear on my Mizuno gamers. For those of you that are interested, they feel just like what I was looking for.
