2018年8月12日 · Wax the string portion (exposed) with a good silicon wax. Use the fluid on all the cables servings after the bow has been shot with cables installed at least 35 times. Using the fluid from the grt go, will not let cable wear and hence timing may be slow to get to where it will eventually wind up. The center serving, don’t put anything new on it.

2018年8月1日 · I originally used the Barnett lube wax in the chap stick tube that came with the crossbow. I switched to Excalibur EX Lube. The Trident is far superior to these other two brands. The Trident also gets used on the string and cables of my 2014 Elite Energy 35 vertical bow. All the best with what ever you choose.

2024年11月20日 · When I go a new string from Boo's Custom Strings, he recommended bee's wax melted and adding a bit of olive oil. The olive oil softens the wax a bit allowing it to flow into the strands better. I heated it in a cup in the microwave then you can make a little tray from foil and pour it in there to harden.
