Keep in mind: The issue is only in Excel 2016 - Arial regular, bold, italic and bold/italic work just fine in Word 2016; I even tested the font in Excel 2011 on my same Mac, and the font behaves properly in Excel 2011

2020年3月20日 · I have a lot of forms using Garamond as the base font. They've all worked fine until recently (last day or so.) Now, Garamond "regular" appears on screen and print as bold italic. Garamond bold appears normally, Garamond italic appears normally, and Garamond bold, italic looks a little different, but functions normally.

I suggest you download the TTF Adobe Caslon Pro Semibold font and use it in your Word for Mac application to see the result.
