Sylvan Heights Bird Park is open year-round, and each season is different! No matter what time of year you visit, you will see many birds from all over the world. Spring and summer are our busiest seasons, with birds hatching and gardens in bloom throughout the park.

The Sylvan Heights Bird Park would offer visitors an enjoyable and interactive way to learn about birds and their conservation without disturbing the work being done inside the breeding center. The initial park was around 10 acres, with six aviaries representing six of the seven continents (Antarctic birds do not do well in North Carolina weather).

Your ticket includes access to the park’s aviaries, gardens, and nature trails via self-guided walking tour. Tickets may be purchased online or upon arrival at the park’s Visitor Center. ADULTS (ages 13 to 61): $14 SENIORS (ages 62+): $12 CHILDREN (ages 3 to 12): $10 CHILDREN (2 and under): Free
