2018年3月9日 · Jovian Chronicles and Heavy Gear are awesome Mecha games and great sci-fi settings as well. Jovian Chronicles is one of the best Solar System settings out there (well if you can find it). Good old Palladium has Robotech and Rifts.

2017年4月24日 · DUST Adventures features mecha in an alternate history setting, and while the miniatures game it is based on makes use of mecha, the RPG just sort of has them as part of the setting. Edit: Armageddon 2089 (2003) = I recall seeing this once in a store. According to an RPGnet review it focuses on "Warmek pilots" so I guess it's a mecha game.

This works if you never ever use a different mech, but my general thought is "If Heero Yuy jumps in a Leo, he still kicks your ass cause he's Heero Yuy". 3. Games where personal combat and mech combat feel identical.

2017年9月29日 · Never really cared for Mechwarrior though, the game worked best as a table top war game or "rpg wargame" again like carwars. Certainly room for improvement in BT, but most mech games seem to go the other direction (softer, less crunchy rules) from what I consider improvement. This looks nice, but definitely seems to fall into that lighter category.

In cooperative board games or in an MMO PvE situation, that external opposition is in the rules or was coded into the computer, and you can compare your performance to others. In these tactical RPG style games with human GMs it feels more slippery.
