I remember how small I thought it was the first time I picked it up. It punches way above its weight. 2. Wetterlings Bushman (Gen. 2)--cold weather.

2023年3月29日 · I mostly use the 000 size but also own a 00 which is a fine axe too. The 000 is great for packing along due to its weight and versatility. The 00 will do more work in terms of bucking and splitting naturally. Take a close look at the handle in the thread below.

Makes me wonder what all the hoopla is about when most of us drop 500% more on a tool for the same job. IMO everybody should have a .22 rifle, and a Plumb boys axe.

2023年3月29日 · A) Best. B) Bushcraft, Based on that, in my opinion, the best choice is: 1. GB Outdoor Axe for hot weather. 2. Les Stroud Bushman for colder weather. The CT Wood-Craft is also a fine axe. I like hawks, but they don't split as well and are primarily fighting weapons that can be used for Bushcraft.
