2014年8月29日 · Eh, the headlights on my 2004 E46 coupe take seriously 5 minutes to take out. Pop the trim piece off underneath the headlight, held in by 8 or 10mm bolt that is exposed when you have the hood open. Then there is 3 screws that are Torx 10 or 15 but I think can also be taken out 8mm. Just need an extension.

2020年11月4日 · Yes, all facelift headlights have projectors, but xenon projector housings and bulb holders are different, so if you put D2S bulbs on halogen headlights it will not sit rigidly, and the illumination will be quite lower compared to xenon headlights. If it's still functional, remove it, dry the interior carefull with a heat gun and apply a silicon clear sealant around the headlight-- where the black and clear plastic meet. Put everything back together. My 2017 x3 had the same issue but with a taillight, the above fixed the problem.

2019年8月23日 · VLD requires adaptive headlights to work. Anti-dazzle doesn't work with f30 LCI adaptive headlights either since they lack the hardware for them. If OP just has LED headlights, then neither of those two features will help him. The non-adaptive LED headlights are also not as bright as the adaptive ones.

2021年11月1日 · The F11 has some of the first generation adaptive LEDs but they‘re still pretty good. Some say the light is brighter but not as clean on the road like Xenon. I would always choose brightness over a clean look… it‘s because the Xenon headlights have a clean border at the end of the lightbeam while the LEDs are spotted.
