Feeding axolotl worms-Black soldier fly larvae?
2020年5月20日 · My juvenile axolotl is growing like crazy. Took a little while to get him eating when I first got him, but now he eats like a beast. He is about 3.5 inches long right now. I try to keep his diet varied, and already he is pretty picky. He loves frozen bloodworms, and I give those not as his main staple food, but when he just won't eat anything else.

And my axolotl has been eating them everyday for a month! I'm getting him those "hikiri carnivore pellets" tomorrow as a staple diet and the tubifex worms as treats.

2021年8月18日 · I don't think that sand for an axolotl that small is the best idea, based on what I've heard. Sand can cause injury to the axolotl, especially if they eat some, and even more so when they are that small, so waiting until they are larger (probably at the very least 6 inches long) until doing sand is better. Even then, sand can be risky.
