Appletun is probably my favorite pokemon from SwSh. It's a beefy chungus with a cool typing, hidden ability, and signature move. I love using mine with a stall setup of leech seed, recover, dragon pulse, apple acid, and leftovers for his item. When his little eye flaps pop up and his mouth opens on an attack he looks so goofy.

2019年12月4日 · Appletun is a lot tankier and slower than flapple, but has better sp attack I think. Both can regain health with ripen ability and recycle, which is neat because infinite sitrus berries that heal a ton of damage. I used one in my first playthrough, and loved it. Melbe is the best girl.

2023年12月15日 · If you have a Dipplin, a Flapple, and an Appletun all in your party, they should combine to form a 3-headed Hydrapple. Ta-dah! That's their gimmick now, previously we had 1 Pokemon evolving into 2 (Nincada), now we have 3 Pokemon evolving into 1. Makes sense lore-wise: All 3 worms share 1 apple.

2022年1月14日 · Bronzong: I ran Bronzong on an Appletun team that I made a few series ago and it honestly fits really well. Mental Herb stops Taunt shenanigans and allows me to get off a Trick Room. Max Steelspike and Knuckle are great support moves that Zacian, Incineroar and Cal-I benefit from immensely.
