He was hiking in NY and saw a deer cut perfectly in half on the trail, but only the back half was left. He said it looked like it was cut with a laser—it was so precise. No blood drops, no jagged cuts or anything. Just the back half of a baby doe, left perfectly in the middle of the trail.

This pushes the quilts range down to a point that you could even start with it, with some heavy base layers. And, when it's hot, it's a quilt: just ventilate, loosen it up, stick a leg out.

The lunar solo is what I used on my thru. It’s a nice tent and silpoly is so much nicer than silnylon in my opinion. The Lunar Solo is made with Polyester coated on both sides with silicone (requires seam sealing outside of the factory) I used a full-sized MSR Groundhog for the main guy line and minis for the corners.

If you plan on staying in more that just hostels in towns I have AirBnB, Hotwire, Hopper, and kayak apps. For weather I have the paid version of RadarScope and Wunderground.
