It's not just that one builder, but you can use that builder to instantly chop a rainforest to accelerate monument and bring population to 3 (having 3 population instead of 1, allows you to settle some spaces where loyalty pressure is like -10).

Why ever pick Ancestral Hall over Warlord's Throne
2019年10月21日 · It's more that Warlord's Throne is OP since even with partial use, it is a big bonus and only gets bigger the more cities you have. Ancestral Hall has a very awkward timing and it'd be nice if the settler bonus applied to all cities but it doesn't. In cramped spaces or maps with lots of islands, I actually think Meme Chamber is better.

You could get it up and running then get 6-10 free Builders in the Classical as you're planting Settlers. Sometimes you wouldn't even have to delay that much to get Feudalism and Pyramids and be spawning 6 use builders with each ...

2016年10月22日 · On T93 I either chose Colonization policy or not. On T94 I let or not let Hobart build the Ancestral Hall. The result is, that while the wording is the same, Colonization policy gives +50% production towards settlers in all cities while AcH only in Hobart, the city it is built in.

I personally like to play fast, so when I choose the first building under government center that begins with an A I expect it to be Ancestral Hall because of that thing called alphabetical order.
