2018年1月16日 · A lot of it is the velocity. The 30-30 has more range than the 44 Mag, and still is plenty big enough to take down a deer. I think perception also plays a part too - 30-30's reputation as a deer round is beyond question, whereas 44 mag in a long gun is thought of as a big-bore plinker or a 50 yard thumper.

Maybe if he went with another platform other than single shot rifles. But the 350 legend has an actual big ammo/rifle company pushing theirs. Rifles and ammo.

2008年9月1日 · What's a good recoil pad for a Winchester 94 Trapper carbine. I have one in .44 mag that is tame with the .44 sp loads, but a bit sharp with .44 mag loads. Is a recoil pad something that needs to be fitted to the stock or can I get a prefit pad and screw it on? Thanks.
