2021年4月5日 · Our list of the Middle East’s top Arab music celebrities highlights 50 of MENA’s most streamed and followed active singers, bands, and rappers that dominated the Arabic music industry in 2020.

Forbes Middle East reveals its Top 100 Arab Celebrities for the first time, looking at the popularity and influence of actors, singers and TV personalities from across the region. The highest-ranking woman on the list, Nancy Ajram, has around 48 million followers across social media platforms.

In 2020, Lamjarred was among the top 50 most-streamed Arab singers on Anghami and the 50 most-streamed artists in MENA on Deezer. His song, “Adda El Kalam,” was the fourth most-streamed Arabic song on Anghami last year.

#3 most-streamed Arab singer in MENA on Deezer. Elissa, known among her fans as the “Queen of Romance,” first appeared on the famous Lebanese music competition “Studio Alfan” in 1992. She has collaborated with many brands throughout her career, including Christian Dior and jeweler L’azurde.

Essam Sasa is Spotify’s most-streamed Arab artist in MENA in 2023, followed by Wegz and Amr Diab, respectively, the audio streaming platform revealed.

The former includes Arab artists who have found success outside of the region and have got loyal followings among Americans and Europeans of Arab origin. The list classifies celebrities into five categories such as singers, actors, directors, fashion designers and footballers.
