Transjugular vs Percutaneous liver biopsy : r/medicine - Reddit
The conventional transjugular liver biopsy technique results in a non-targeted biopsy and is usually reserved for diffuse liver diseases. 2011年1月27日 · I do liver biopsies occasionally, and I usually use a lidocaine and a little versed (midazolam). I do them through the side (right into the liver). It tends to hurt more. If they went through your neck then you had a transjugular liver biopsy. The radiologists I have worked with either give no sedation, or just a little versed to take the edge off.
