It's a bit worse today and looks like a a little buldge next to her mouth also. We wanted to add two more chickens but now we don't know what to do. The ear and eyes look clear.

2021年3月22日 · I am hoping someone can help me out. Yesterday I found my hen to have a swollen ear lobe. I gave her some VetRx several times yesterday. This morning I see that ear lobe and wattles are still swollen. When I hold her and put the meds on her, they decrease & she pinks up, but when left alone, they get discolored and swollen.

2024年4月8日 · I noticed this afternoon that my hen, Thundercloud, has a swollen ear lobe. She is still eating and drinking fine. Doesn’t appear to be sensitive to touch, and her ear looks okay as far as I know. The swollen area seems slightly warm (almost same temp) compared to reg lobe- we are in AZ and it’s 70°. Her other lobe looks normal.

2015年10月9日 · The black scabby spot has grown substantially. I cannot find a vet to take him in to and the one I found who is willing to see a rooster is on vacation this entire coming week. My hubby took a good look around in his ear just now and the ear itself is fine. But he sure got mad when the hubs squeezed on this ear lobe.
