2012年10月22日 · The only thing I can find in old and new books ( mexican ) is Rheedia edulis and Garcinia intermedia which are probably the same sp and maybe even similar to the G. brasiliensis . The problem I have with these is that the fruits are way smaller .

2012年7月2日 · Remember that it is really a Rheedia, and i think that all Rheedias, with possible exception of R. magnifolia, are self pollinating. This fruit is not only much better tasting but also about 3x bigger than the treasured achachairu.

2012年7月3日 · My achachairus are quite a bit larger and fuller but still no signs of flowers. they can handle quite a bit of cold. I've got an achachairu that is over 6 feet tall that has yet to flower. Looks real good and just flushed out, and am guessing it will flower soon. 2022年7月12日 · 墨西哥山竹的英文名字叫“Mexican Rheedia”，果实、树叶、果树都非常大，最大的果能达到10厘米左右。 未成熟的果实是绿色的，成熟后变成了黄色，果肉是淡色的，果肉的味道有点榴莲或者榴莲蜜的味道，果皮非常薄，果肉非常厚，甜度很高，能达到19-20左右。
