2024年10月30日 · Gillette Silver Blues (GSB's) are great blades. Not all Chinese manufactured blades are the same. Gillette Shanghai produces some excellent blades, along with a couple of others. However, there have been some blades (I'm looking at you Flying Eagles) that perpetuate the low quality stereotype.

2010年2月19日 · I've searched through every pharmacy, Walmart, and supermarket in my suburb of Boston and, on the rare occasions when do they carry styptic pencils, they're the "thin" ones (i.e., diameter no larger than that of a ballpoint pen). These are cheap, aren't good for anything more than the smallest weeper, and degrade quickly.

Maybe the blade @helicopter tested was not a representative sample, but statistical chance makes that difficult to know. You see the graph with Silver Star doing poorly and experience confirmation bias since you unconsciously want your experience to agree with the graph.

Others that I like are: Gillette Perma-sharps Gillette Nacets Gillette 7 o'clocks Blades that I DON'T like that so many other people do: Gillette Silver Blues Any Personna Any Astra Blades that are almost universally hated: Derby Extras (don't even bother) This is why YMMV.
